Secure communications

Most of us are aware of the work done by the Poles,& the English concerning their work on the German Enigma machine. Some are even aware of sub commander Rochefort, and his work dealing with one level of Japanese naval codes, which were of use in the Battle of Midway.Indeed, the Japanese diplomatic codes ,in addition, were a joke.Decoded, and translated before their own embassy had read them..
Milspec,is on a mission. He needs to know,if our system of encryption, was so good,as we are led to believe.Or,did we have our own share of miscues, that resulted in carnage.
It is a fact that Sir Winston, was aware of the impending German air assault on Coventry,England, but did not order an alert, simply to keep the Germans from suspecting their communications were being not only monitored, but understood.
Again,Milspec, needs info on this subject, and he needs it A.S.A.P.

Erm welcome to the forum ....

Might bet a better response posting this in 'off-topic' since it has nothing to do with BF2 ;)

Secure Communications

Your point is well made.I just joined and assumed ,what the forum was,it appears I was wrong.
Is this entire site devoted to GAMING,as opposed to authentic military affairs discussion?
If so,I would have thought the moderator, would have schooled me,and placed this post, where it rightfully belongs.
Is Milspec ,right,,,,,If so do what is required.

I think you'll find that is a myth.
