To start, go to your
TRACKER SIGNATURE IMAGE page.
(Just click on it, or go to
and then choose
'tracker signature image')
I wil give all the options you could change, and give a (short) explanation about it.
1. Signature Pic Text:
Now in those two 'open areas' at the right, you could fill in the text you want, replacing the variables by the correct strings.
For example when you want to show your honorlevel in your tracker signature, put the string {honor} at the place you want to have it displayed. Now when your honor changes, your new honor will be automatically changed in your signature image. (same goes for kills etc).
To see the list for what you could replace by what, look on the left of those two 'open areas'.
For example, my text for when i'm online:
{uname} is playing at {lsname}
has a slowly growing honor of {honor} and needs {hscore} for a next one
he got killed {kia} times for killing {kills} enemies.
2. Signature Background Image ?
Here you can upload a picture to use it as a background for your tracker signature image.
But make sure your picture matches the requirements:
Upload banner / image:
Custom banners / images can have a maximum size of 600*60 pixels, 256 Colors or 24bit TrueColor and 15 Kbytes. We only support images in *.png and *.jpg format!
If you don't know how to make a .png file, here is an easy way to do it.
Just open that picture in paint. And then save it again as a .png file (you could select that in the pull down menu where you have that 'save as' box).
Or you could go to
www.irfanview.com , where you could resize pictures, and save it as a png (or whatever you want)
Also make sure that your picture is made in 256 colors (8 bit) and not 16 / 32 bit. For one or another reason aaotracker seems to have problems with something else than those 256 colors.
3. Size of your Background Image ?
Make sure you don't leave this at the default settings if your sig is more than one line, otherwise only the first line will be displayed.
You will have to test a bit with this to find a size that matches what you want.
The next options are pretty self explanatory i think
After you have pressed that 'Save' button at the bottom of the page, you will see that the two boxes with 'code' are filled now.
You could now use this code to show your tracker signature image in your sig(s) (here at aaotracker aswell on other forums / sites).
How to set now your tracker signature image as your sig for aaotracker?
First copy the BB-code that could be found at the bottom of your
'edit forum signature' page. (click it if you aren't already looking at that page)
Then go to the
EDIT FORUM SIGNATURE page.
(click on it or go to
and then
'edit forum signature').
And now just paste the BB-code.
Then press the 'save' button and now you are ready, and you have now your own tracker signature image.
Here two screenshots of my 'edit tracker signature' page, to give you an idea how it could look.
A good tip is to have your online signature in a different color than your offline signature. That way if you are online or offline is immediatly visible. Use a 'negative' color like red for your offline status and a 'positive' color like green for online.
Offcourse this is all up to you.
