All I can say is, "Don't hold your breath!" I know it sucks waiting, but if the patch is half-baked in any way, we will all bitch about that even more than the patch missing its release date.

they said their still testing it in the last community update, thats all we know. they do have the actual devs writing the patches, so just have faith and be patient.

yea patches dont patch anything. we should call em ummm...i dunno the opposite of a patch.

if devs are writing the patches now, how come 1.41 for bf2 supposedly didnt fix anything?

cuz thats dice canadia doing the bf2 patches. i was speaking of the 2142 patch. also they said their not doing nerfs or adding things, this is strictly bug hunting... they actually said they realize making gameplay changes caused more issues than they could fix...

now we can only hope it is as good as it sounds it is...

it would suck to have 4 days worth of solid game play wiped away in the click of a button.

anyway i wish i could quote all of this. well my personal opinion about the patch. is that from my understanding is that dice is doing their best to obsideby the hackers and pad staters. like for instance: on bf2142 leaderboard there are such names as bftestaj or w/e for gunship and they tested a hack that will allow youto edit your kills w/e. next topic. due to the new exploits
of the game with the squad leader beacon to the core, and the glitch with the crate box in th titans: i was playing in the bfroe 48 server an some person went in it like the buildings in bf2 at karkand .... anyway, i have drank quite abit. so, i think dice is seeing these new glitches in there engine and they are trying to fix them up so that they will have more time to fix the other things that will be wrong with the patch.

the only thing that i am anticipating is the problem with the titans moving when the shields are down......... so my moral in this story is that shouldint be soo agitated with dice & EA, I PERSONALLY THINK they are trying to the best that they can to make this 2nd patch worth while,.and if they didnt care about us then they would have released the patch ontime, not caring about us and 2142

well, stfu and wait for the patch and accept what they put out.
