yeah i'm playing the demo. reached the highest rank.
it's not as good as i thought but still good.

what i love are all the weapons available that i've been wanting in fps games. hk416, an-94 abakan, aek-971, vss vintorez, svu etc. really a fresh breeze instead of m4 and ak47 over and over and over.

what i don't like are the weapon stats. they don't make sense. the unlockable m16 is way more accurate and damaging than some of the guns that should be superior to it + it has 50 rounds in the mag. breaks my heart.

and it's not like everything is destructable. a lot of walls i've shot only gets a dent in them. it's not like you can take down a whole house, the pillers that holds it will always remain, as well as stairs etc.

but the sounds are epic and everything looks good. still not as "free" as bf2, but it might be the demo map that's confined?

haven't decided if i'm gonna get it or not.

also, they LOVE to degrade consol players. bad company features the same circular crosshair as gta4, like they want to say "hey, i know you can't aim with the controller cause you're a retarded halo kid, but try to keep the enemy withing this circle"

they're pictures of people's most extreme damage they've inflicted. i haven't got anywhere near that. but it's not fake
and yeah, it is kinda lame when they've used a bad digital camera to take a picture of a bad television haha. looks better over here, too ;P

Its Great i love the game

The single-player on this game kinda sucks, but I heard it was better than previous battlefields. I missed BF2 because I was a console gamer back then. Then I became primarily a PC gamer and then Battlefield: Bad Company went to the consoles.

I absolutely love the multiplayer to death though. I can't stop playing it on my PS3. Plus, blowing up all that crap never gets old.

I never thought I would enjoy playing BF on a console but I love this game.

The graphics and sound are sweet for a start - looks so impressive when u see a tank firing in the distance, first u see the shell being fired, then the cloud of dust rising around the tank and a second later u hear it. Then of course there is the (mostly) destructable terrain....well that speaks for itself really.

A few things I dont like is the blast radius on grenade launchers and guided missiles. I know ppl like to cry about the n00btube etc in other games, but there is no danger of that happening in BC. You can score a direct hit with the GL and ppl still walk away. The guided missile is nearly as bad, unless u score a direct hit on a tank it survives. Even if the missile lands a few yeards away from a soldier, he survives

That said, if BC is anything to go by I'd say we're in for a real treat with BF3

Great multiplayer value.
Singleplayer is amusing.
Overall, 10/10 game in my opinion.

Hiber... you could buy it 2nd hand... I'm plannign on doing that.... all the expensive games an shit...

It's just that... I buy a game and after a few weeks/months I'm done with it, 2nd time it's less fun... mostly! After that you've done it and seen it, and buying every game I wanna play new isn't worth it, some just aren't that good so I'll buy everything 2nd hand and sell it trough again after I'm done... so overall it'll cost me none or very few $$.... and I can try more cuz I'm buying it 2nd hand and selling it anyway, so it's not that big of a chance to get screwed over for a friggin 70 Euro's for a damn game...
