If you just bought the game and landed in 1.3 you're pretty unlucky.

The gameplay itself is awesome and very well put together, its deff worth the money. The bugs and such however sure can do your head in at times, and thats where ea/dice bit themselves in their ass. Sure influenced a lot not to buy 2142.

The game without major bugs is awesome, dont put words in peoples mouths.

Seeing that I still play the game it was worth the bucks I spent on it.

I'm not currently playing, but that's cause my HD crashed and I'm looking for a new rig. But the first game I'll install when the new one arrives is BF2. Don't know about SF and other add-on's though, not to keen about them.

So call me an idiot if you will, I voted just that.

even with it's faults it's still worth the 40-45 euro's I spent on it...

"So, even today whenever a storm brews off the Cape of Good Hope, if you look into the eye of the storm, you will be able to see the ship and its captain - The Flying Dutchman. Don't look too carefully, for the old folk claim that whoever sights the ship will die a terrible death."

RE: Was Battlefield 2 Worth Your Money

Yes it was worth it, I just calculated the cost per hour assuming $50 purchase cost, it is 12.5 cents per hour so far and the cost will improve the more I play. There are alot of things that are free and fun but this was definitely worth it.

Are you kidding HELL Yes worth every penny.

Even with

1.) "There Is a Problem With Your Connection"

2.) Crash to Desk Top

3.) Uninstalling re-installing game and patches

4.) Recently purchased a whole new copy of BF2 Vanilla/Special Forces

So yes well worth it and I'm still not near tired of it.

Edit: In fact I think I'll leave work early today so I can play some...................lol I'm not kidding

I didn't start playing BF2 until about 2 months ago. I don't know why I waited so long. I too am addicted to this game, forsaking ALL others.

I was lucky getting it this late though, only paid $20 for BF2, $20 for BF2:SF and $20 for the Euro Force/Armoured Fury combo pack.

Then of course I had to pay $60 for a new Merc-Z gaming keyboard and another $60 for the LogiTech USB headset. Plus I want another Gig of RAM next week for faster loads ($100).

Silly Rabbit, I'm spending more money on accesories for the game than the game itself! LOL.

All figures are in U.S. Dollars.

BTW -> Nice job reviving the thread. :mask:
