Anyone still play from around 2003-2004?

Old school AA player here! Thought I'd see if anyone still played from the good ole days? I'm Wolverine http://battletracker.com/playerstats/aao…olverine%5D.af/

Also, admin... anyway to get this account back? Obviously, I can't get my TWL email access.

Welcome back!
I didn't play that far back, myself.

Just looking on the toplist, tho:

EDIT:
Sorry, forgot to address the account problem.
The only admin here is Homey, but he's been missing for literally years now.
So if you can't access your email, then I'm afraid there's no way to get back your account unless you manage to guess the password.

Every version from of 3 is more of a CS like game then tactics, nice graphics but misses the tactics, teamplay and mood of all these previous versions.

Yeah, I started in 2003. New AA is good but nothing like 2.0 version...

Hell yes!

I worked on the game from 2003-2009 ([Dev]AceKilla) - this game got me into the industry (started playing day one 7/4/02). :)

If I remember right, we were working on v1.9, Combat Medic, and the SAI (but that may have been later though). Definitely working on SF CSAR around this time though because we showed it off at E3 that year.

It's so awesome you all and the community are still supporting 2.X running (and we're sorry about 3.0, I'll take the heat on that - just too overambitious and couldn't finish) A lot of us were also in noob dev positions learning our way, and the Army drama didn't help. But as rookie Lead Designer of AA3 I'll take the heat for that AA3 - sorry. :( So sad of what that game couldof been.

Looks like you got a new version now PG, played a few hours - definitely more simplified. But I'm definitely looking to put some 203s in the IC windows just like the old glory days lol. Since AA I've been at id working on Rage and Doom 2016. Quite a change from my AA days (we don't even reload in Doom haha).

Here's some other various pics of the AA team around this time...

Not a big deal, but would be super cool to get my dev icon back on 25Assist.

Hey AceKilla!

Thanks for dropping by and thanks for the support - we (the 25Assist/aao25 team) really do appreciate it!

I'll see what I can do about your in game Dev icon.
I'd love for you to join us at aao25.com as well - a lot more of an active community over there (I didn't check this until a few days later, yet I check aao25.com every day).

Welcome back to AA2 - I hope it's not just for a one day fling! :D

BTW, the SAI came in version 2.7 or 2.8.x (not sure which anymore - might have been 2.7 with the Coop missions), but we've (or rather ELiZ has) added it to the modified AA2.5 that we're running here.
On the note of AA2 versions, I've looked for a list of releases and their dates (I know there used to be one but if it was on the official site, then they've most probably sacked it by now and that's why I can't find it), do you know if you could get a hold of something like that? Would be cool to document it in our wiki as well.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. However, keep in mind that I don't visit this site daily (I will try to now, though - as I'm awaiting your response).
