Problems with AAO tracker? Please read before you post!

Here is a list of the most asked questions / problems:

01.) I am not longer tracked since I changed my AmericasArmy-Game-Name
[SIZE=1]The username in your tracker settings must be wrong. Check your Tracker Control Panel again and look if you have changed the aao username. In our User-CP is also an option to change the forum/login name of this tracker website here, but this will not change the americas army game name. Your Forum/Loginname can be different then the AAO Tracker Profile name! Also check if your username is not violating the rules. It should contain only alpha numeric characters, numbers and file-safe characters. It can also happen that the army game replaces some special characters or empty spaces in the username with other characters. Take a look at the InGame Score Board (press F1 during gameplay) and look if your username on the ScoreBoard is matching the username in your tracker-settings. If you still have any problems please create a new Thread in our Tracker-Support forums and give us all informations that you have (old and new username, servers you were playing and all those things)[/SIZE]

02.) My Tracker Signature Banner or Status Icons always say I am offline when I am playing but tracker is tracking me!
[SIZE=1]Looks like your GhostMode is activated. Visit your Tracker Control Panel and search for a option called "Activate Ghost mode" and disable it. When the GhostMode is activated, your status icons and signatures will always say you are offline so that are players are not able to see you when you are playing.[/SIZE]

03.) I am playing aao and my stats are tracked correctly, but my buddies can not see me in the buddylist!
[SIZE=1]Looks like your GhostMode is activated. Visit your Tracker Control Panel and search for a option called "Activate Ghost mode" and disable it. When the GhostMode is activated, your status icons and signatures will always say you are offline so that are players are not able to see you when you are playing.[/SIZE]

04.) I can not find my name in the User- and/or Map Toplists!
[SIZE=1]Every Toplist on our website has it's own 'limits'. You need a minimum number of Kills, Onlinetime [...] to be listed in a toplists. The minimum requirements are displayed at the top right corner of the toplist-page. In your Tracker-Control-Panel you also have an option where you can select if your account should be listed in toplists. When you selected NO there, then you will not be displayed in our toplists. And please remember that 'private profiles' are also not listed in any toplists! You must have a 'public profile'. You can select this also in your Tracker CP.[/SIZE]

05.) I found a Game-Server that is not tracked. What can I do?
[SIZE=1]Our Serverlist is not updating automaticly! The serverlist is made by community members! Everyone can add servers there. Servers are going offline, changing IP Adresses or new servers are coming every minute. So the serverlist of tracked servers changing every minute! A complete list of all servers that are tracked at this moment, can you find here. Look if you can find the server there. When it is not in the list, every member can add the server manually to our serverlist here. Official- and leased Server lists are updated every 12 hours but adding servers manually also works. After you added the server, tracking should start within 5 minutes.[/SIZE]

06.) I am Serveradmin - Everytime I change the Map, the server is not longer tracked. What can I do?
[SIZE=1]That's a known server-side bug of the AmericasArmy Game Engine. There is a bug in the code that changes the "queryport" of your gameserver everytime you change the map via admin (through console command) or when you activate the mapcycle. After the map switch, the queryport of the gameserver has changed +1 and it's impossible for InGame Browser, third party tools or our tracker-system to scan/track this server. It will be displayed as offline because it's not longer responding on the port where it should respond. You can only change the map in the server.ini file and in the commandline where you start your server.exe file. That's also the reason why no one can enable mapcycle on his leased HonorServer. The AA DEV Team confirmed this bug and they said they will fix it 'in upcoming versions of the game'.[/SIZE]

07.) The "Next Score to Honor bar" is not the same like in my personal jacket on americasarmy.com?
[SIZE=1]First of all, our tracker system is using a complete different way to get the stats from the players. It can happen sometimes that tracker missing some kills/score/stats or that you play on a server that is not tracked. So our Honorbar is not always 100% accurate. But it can show you very good how long the way to next honor is. The stats in your personal jacket on americasarmy.com are coming from the US Army Auth Servers. They have another way to collect the total score. But it can also happen that the auth.-servers are down and not updating your score correctly. So it can also be that the official score isn't correctly updated. But both of us are working to make the servers more stable and stats tracking more accurate. Just continue playing. Your Honor will go up very soon.[/SIZE]

08.) I can not add a buddy to my Buddylist. It says "User does not exist" but he is registered!
[SIZE=1]Make sure you typed his name absolutly correctly! Note that usernames are Case Sensitiv! When the username contains special characters, it can happen that it will not work when you add the buddy by name. In every tracker-userprofile you should find a Button (next to the e-mail and pm buttons). Click on the button to add the user to your buddylist. Also note that the member you want to add must have an activated tracker account! It's not enough to register an website/forum account here. He also needs to have an activated tracker![/SIZE]

09.) I am playing on a gameserver and it's not updating any stats neither my online/offline status.
[SIZE=1]Looks like the server is not tracked or it's running with settings that don't allow tracker to track this gameserver. You should take a look at our Tracker Serverlist. All servers that are tracked now at this moment are displayed there. Try to find your server. If you can not find the server in our Serverlist add it to the serverlist manually. On the bottom of the Serverlist page you should see a "add server to serverlist" link. Click on it and enter the ServerIP Address and Ports of this GameServer. Tracking should start within 5 minutes or it will give you a error message and tell you why it isn't possible to track this server. When the server is in the serverlist, but it is completely not tracked, then it can have some other reasons:
The Server must run in 'global' mode. LAN mode will not work. And the server must be registered on the americarmy.com page. When players are playing on the server, the Honorlevel should be displayed in the InGame ScoreBoard. If you don't see your Honorlevel, it's not an authorized server and/or it's running in global mode. Also the Punkbuster Anti Cheating Software is required and must be enabled on this server! Normally PB is running on official server, but there are most of the time 4-5 official servers where PB is not running. And the official cheat function must be disabled. The Map FLS-Assault is not tracked and private / password servers are also not tracked. The latest Version of AmericasArmy must be installed! If you are not tracked on all servers, then your username in your Tracker Control Panel could be wrong. Check if the name in your TCP is the same username that you are using in the AA Game and that you see in the AA InGame Scoreboard.[/SIZE]

10.) I was playing a short session and my stats were tracked correctly but I can not find my Session in my 'Session History'
[SIZE=1]To save ressources and webspace we only save sessions that are longer then 15 minutes in your 'Session History'. So you have to play more then 15 minutes if you want to see this session in your session history.[/SIZE]

If your problem is not in the list, the answer did not help you or you have another problem, then create a new thread in this tracker-support-forum and make an detailed report. Give us all informations that you have, let us know when the problem happen and how often. And give us informatiions like your username and the servername or IP if required. Then more informations you give us, then higher is the chance that a tracker-supporter or a community member can help you.
