Join the clan in your tracker settings with the admin-password instead member-password!

Then you will find a EDIT Button in your Clanprofile next to the Guestbook/Email/Buddy Buttons ....

Or click User-CP » Management » Clan Settings

Which buttons? just a matter of getting used to / trail-and-error to know the forumbuttons are under a post insted of above (like on AOT and BF2T). The clanbutton is a new thing indeed.

I think he talks about the EDIT CLAN Button in the clan profile.

Yeah I know it's probably not easy to find him, but I don't know where to place it !? Suggestions ???

I think he talks about the EDIT CLAN Button in the clan profile.

I personally think this is only a matter of getting used to.
Joining the clan as admin instead of having to join it as a member and login as admin is much more handier, same as the edit button in the clan profile.
The only "problem" is that almost everybody is used to the old way.

Maybe make a sticky about it or put a tutorial in the "help" area?

Yes I was refering to the EDIT CLAN BUTTON. I do agree that logging in as ADMIN its right in front of me (now that I know) is easy. But having to search around this web site trying to figure it out was getting old when I could have been playing. As far as a location goes? Maybe under the reg clan? or as someone else stated just making it a lot more obvious for future newbs.

Im just glad this forum was here. Thanks for everyones help.

Every time I try to login in using the clan admin password I get an error???

maybe make a Clan Admin Login link in CoD Tracker on the right may make it more accessable

Only Clan Admins should know the password and if anyone else tries it should give an error

Just a suggestion.......

How can this be? I see you already joined your clan.
Did you join it by entering the member password or the admin password?
You should have used the admin password when joining the clan in your tracker settings. Once you have done so, you have never to login as an admin anymore. :)

Well, I never thought I was an idiot but I cannot work this out at all....

I joined myself - that seems to work, after all, I'm writing this post :)

I also registered my clan, then I went off and set up FTP access to a folder into which all our servers drop their mp_ logs, unfortunately, I now cannot get back in to enter the info anywhere... in fact, I cannot get back in at all.

I appear in a nice pull-down list that pops up, the clan name is taken as is the tag, but even though this was only done yesterday and I actually have the piece of paper with the admin and clan passwords still sat right in front of me - nothing !, all I get is an error with either pwd.

Well, an ftp account with RO access to the logs from 3 more servers is all set up and ready to go, if someone tells me (idiot fashion please) what to do next, I;ll be only too happy to oblige.

Go to "My Profile"/"Tracker Settings"
Enter there you ingame name first and then join your clan by selecting the full clan name and entering the ADMIN password (not the memberpassword)
If everything goes as planned you only have to click submit to make the magic happen :)

If this isn't working: What is the exact error message you are getting?

Ahh.....

It appears that you need to specify a particular country, even when the clan has international membership, I suppose this will reduce duplicates so it's sensible if not obvious to an old fart like me...

I don't wish to appear ungrateful for a potentially great facility but I'm not alone in finding the site navigation a little cumbersome, counter-intuitive, even.
A few simple HOWTO paragraphs could go a long way.......

I don't know if the flag is requiered. Seeing the clan toplist and the lack of flags I doubt it, but I might be wrong. :)

You are right, In the future there will be a faq/tutorial somewhere, but the features and options are still constantly changing as with any site wich is still in progress :)
We are always out to improve this site, so if there is something wich might make it easier to navigate, don't hesitate to let us know in the "feedback" or "website" forum

you can't login as admin EVER after logging in as a user? This is bad! There is nowhere on the site to warn you of this. Also a user should be able to log OUT of a clan as players tend to move around etc.

I really need help on this. ;(
