New to battletracker

Ok.

1. What is battletracker?...2..I have cod mw3, i have to log on to steam to play on line. Ok how does battletracker fit into this...By now you know i am NEW to all this ...Ok here the big one ,can i play my games online(connect to a server) with battletracker or do i still have to use steam or origin?.....That it for now...Danny.
