Account login issue

I have a request from a friend.. ={GAU}=Hikingwolf is having issues he says

"Will someone go and post on BattleTrackers website for a mod to delete all these **** pms from my **** account,is not letting me delete them or get past the login screen" Here is a screenshot he posted... 9137 pms..

I asked Homey to look into it. I haven't an idea how that could happen as I don't think you can subscribe to get birthday reminders, and I've just tried just about anything to do exactly that. Puzzling. As a possible temporary fix I disabled his "Show popup at new private messages" (here) and enabled his "Show only birthdays of my friends" (here)option when I first saw this thread a few days ago. Does Hikingwolf being able to enter his account again mean it worked as a temp fix?
