omg lol, thats a pretty cool thing.
so basically in battlefield 2142, we fight in the places where already in past was fought by humans, example berlin from battlefield 1942 and this one "high way tampa" from bf2.

I wonder what it will be like IO.

If there is ONE thing I wish they would simply fix when releasing this NON- IO button on the browser. ( I know it's just a map) Any new Map is good for me.

yeah any new map is good.
but i wish they'd remove attack choppers and jets and just have transport and ground vehicles, like mashtuur.

There aren't any attack choppers. Just the transport helicopters and one jet fighter.

They're using the same Intel ads they started using recently in 2142. At least they're making some effort to preserve the game.

the Intel ads don't bother me, hell they could put Nike or Coke ads in it's place.

Why? Because we are a present day shooter, and having present day adverts don't detract from anything, provided they are done correctly.

Intel ads on a billboard next to a road? Hey, that's believable.

Granted I would still rather have no ads, but if this is what it takes to get new official content .... why not then?

It reminds me of Zatar, only without the attack helo and with a leet F-18 instead of the lame F-35. Haven't played it yet, but because of my general dislike of Zatar .......

But I'm not going to knock it until I try it. Who knows, I may love it.

i didnt like this map
if there was an attack heli for both teams i would love it because you get to take out the endless amount of tanks like in AF

Played it on a local server I created... 2 words. BEAUTIFUL MAP

Minus the dynamic billboards... I lost count, but there are over 2 dozen of them.. ~4 at every spawn.

yeah, i just played the map a few rounds and literally ate infantry with the apcs. very difficult for infantry, not to mention running out of a spawn on foot :tongue2:

i like the suburb idea. like operation road rage but a lot of ghetto houses \o/
actually, i'd love a chinese suburb map!



with ak47s and abandoned supermarkets :)

I have to agree. I'm all for playing on it if it's clean. Sounds like a good map w/new challenges. Accolades to the creator. However, it amazes me how when 2142 was coming out and the big hype about "privacy infringment" with the ads was a huge issue, people were very skeptical to buy it. But if someone brings out a new mod, people jump on it quickly without considering if the mod is tainted w/virus or whatever. All I'm saying is just be careful when d/l-ing mods. Just a little food for thought..that's all.

Overall, looks like the maps is hella cool and I'm anxious to give it a try. Again, good job creator.
