oh god do i hate this. ill be having a bad night. go to some server and absolutely tear it up for half a round only to have the server crash. grr.

yea anytime i getting a good score prolly gold the damn server crashes on me and i ply with some good ppl like all above 100k and very good at whoring lol but when i get a round now and then where i get like 30 kills or something on da ground with whatever gun is working great for me the server crashes all the time...pisses me off.

yes there is there kindof is. it involves one of the patchs released on the ea downloader for a few hours before they caught it, it was corrupt, upon joining the server with that patch installed you will cause it to crash and this info has made it into the wrong hands.we are getting attacked relentlessly but we belive we have caught one of them redhanded. just keep an eye out for privates with names that mock the server name. we were doing screenies every second to determin just who it was. just remember that alot of thoes server crashes are done on purpose by some asshats.

i kno that if you leave the server you still get your score, but how about if the server leaves you?

You mean if you disconnect before the server disconnects you? I think i pretty much always do this but from what ive heard a server crash doesnt register any stats from that particular round.

And indeed its pretty sad actual people are doing these. There might also be people using the corrupt patch without knowing what their doing.

it registers periodicaly throughout the round, if the server crashes you will prob only loose the score that you made in the 5mins before the server crashed

Thank god others belive me,i knew some people were doing this as in a fair few games i was going to get gold i'm suddenly booted.Another reason i'm no longer playing until a new patch is out.

This is the result of a server crash

ea has made bf2 almost unplayable, its certainly not fun to play anymore. reminds me of the Steam system a few years ago.

this last patch made walking around the maps choppy, you take your chances flying jets now, not due to other pilots but due to "there is a problem with your connection" and ctd's from hell.

we had a twl match last night, we lost which is ok, but we almost lost the server because of connection problems. and its not from the machines causing the problems nor their connections. its the friggin patch. we have 3 unranked servers. 2 of which are in our city on a 100mbit pipe running on linux servers to which i get a 2ms ping. "there is a problem with YOUR connection" i dont fucking think so!

no more games from EA for this household. weve had enough.

well, i will buy crysis when it goes gold, but thats the last ea game i'll be buying.

Now there is this new battlefield server crash exploit that is no secret to anyone, since it was posted on youtube. It is now RUINING BFV and BF42. All versions of Battlefield Vietnam and 1942 are affected. Why would anyone do that??!?!?!
