Coming back to BF2 , BF2 Patching, Aggravation

Ok I already have all the expansions, is there a smaller patch to download?

I dont need 2gb worth of downloads if it isnt necessary


Also how is the BF2 community these days? Been forever and a day since I've played and Im wondering if I just fixing to wade into bullshit. What are the current best and most "Team Oriented" servers out there in the US.

Im still working on getting my BF3 PC soI will have to scratch my BF itch with BF2 for now,

Well the in my oppinion the best teamplayer server, TeamPlayerGaming.com (which happens to be in the US) has pretty much died (not populated) since BF3 came out. The NUNYA server should contain some teamplay, but I don't really know the BF2 community anymore, because I, as well as the most of the TeamPlayerGaming.com community left BF2.
BUT there is more than enough population on BF2, teamplay or not.

Teamplayergaming's BF2 server stays dead 24/7 for the last few months. I have found One Option Gaming to be the best full rotation server out now with 24/7 admins on and they run the adminauto map on that server
