Is the Anti Cheat scene alive and well in AA3 yet?

Whats up with all the non-pb servers? In 2.X every honest server had PB enabled, but in AA3 there is only a few with PB, why?

And how is ACI, AON and AASA doing? They were always better then PB to hunt, caught and banned cheaters. Are they all alive and well in AA3, or have they quit, or are they buissy creating tools to bring down hackers in AA3?

The fact is that there is not much that stops the bastards from cheating/hacking/whatsoever right now.. I hope that this fact changes very soon.

Ps: It's still fun to shoot the hackers in the head when you join their team!

the fact is i dont even think there a way to see if there hacking on a server at the momment or even a ban list you can upload or make

ACI is working on a set of check since 17 of june.

My servers are already covered by a set of cvar and md5 studied with ACI.

The problems of the game is "the game" not the "cheaters" :asd:
cvar cannot make it better :D

well im not going to lie im totally agaisnt aasa and aci and aon, i think punk buster who seems to be a hack free program gets hack and cheater rarly get cuaght threw them they need to step up there work, or aa should let them go and find a better resource of a hack free game, becuase its just a waste of maoney when they do updates that really dont do shit at all, so yea i guest we do need the aci and aon, i hate aasa i dont care for them what so ever, sorry im not trying to flame these guy's but i just dont like them

Any anticheat site will take screen shots with visable hacks, and will ban them as long as you are streaming to them.

Anti-cheat work for AA3 is well and alive.
I cannot speak for Aci,AON and PBbans,however I can speak for CheatBusted.

The CheatBusted administration is constantly working on both AA2 and AA3 anti-cheat scripts.

the thing is too that this is a new game. New ways to add scripts and even add pb to the servers.
There have been probs with adding pb and even install pb in your own pc.
Aci have scripts and have a banlist to run too.
There are coming in pbss to ACI that have been banned too so the work is going forvard.

Btw Ava, why dont you join a AC group and help out? ;)

Just a further point.
Complaining about cheaters is helping no one.
Instead, contribute to the anti-cheat communities. Ways to contribute include logs,screenshots,reports on hacks and such.

As long as this manbojambo of PB continues cant see how any anti-cheat scene could work.

Server side PB has problems with auto updates.IF devs/PB can sort it out then theres a chance,but as things are clients have to manually update PB (pbsetup utility only appeared now in 3.0.5 patch!!) and most of the time servers are running old versions wich results in people being kicked from server.

Until theres a fully working server side auto-update that can update clients too (like 2.x does) cant see any anti-cheat efforts work.

Im too lazy...

But when we get our Honor server up soon on AA3 i will sure watch out for cheaters; look at pbss, investigate suspicious players and so on. We will have PB running at all times, even if it lags the server a bit. And if i take on the role as a "full admin" (not only teamswaps and kicks) i will join an AC group and take a more active role in preventing cheaters.

BTW Baloo, i have never seen you on AA3, do you play it or do you still camp on Bridge AA2 like the noob you are? ;)
