One easy one is lying prone on the top stairs and firing right over the slant of the arch, this will go into the left window

I should try that..... I've been looking for a good spot as well.

But remember theres more and more PPl that can 203 the top stairs Easily :mask:

Best way to find a few good spots is walk around your tower in SP with fog off, then remember a few places to shoot from.
then in the real MP servers keep on the move caus any SAW-fire over a longer period of time will draw BLIND-m16-203 or E-Saw fire, because the tracers reveal your location ;)
dont mess with me or ill pinch yer titties ;-(

i think the stairs are a good spot, but not for a long time, because after a few minutes, M203 grenades will start blowing in your face, and sniper may catch you as well.

you can go on the catwlak and climb up near the middle tower, and start shooting the stairs and windows from there, but that's quite risky. :P

you can just lay on the road and spray the other side, like "blind fire". just shoot everywhere and you'll get an enemy or two at the end.........

the middle arch is a great spot if you can make it up there in one piece. but still, you have to watch out for nades and enemys who will try climbing up. just take these few things in account before going up there.:)

Both on offense and on defense - move around.

Fire short bursts - 10 to 20 rounds in one target area - e.g. under the truck or in one window.

Just make sure you move fast engough so they cant trace the origin of your fire.

Late in the round, on D, you can take a spot on the south cliff hill. That is behind the stairs. Move back enough so you can just barely see the first right hand post on the road, under the tower. This is obviously not flawless, but sure is fun.

Put down your bi-pod so that you can swing the SAW enough to the left to hit all the stairs.
Using the iron sites:
If an E comes down the road fire at him and drive him (or kill him if he keeps running down the road) into the tower or up over the ledge.
If an e comes along the catwalk you can kill him before he makes it into the north hills....and even then your high enough on the south hill to get him later.
If e comes out of the tower try to drive him back in (don't forget you can shoot him through the door).

Don't always shoot as soon as you see the E. If he doesn't see you, wait until he is way out in the open....stuck in the middle of the road/northhill with no place to run. That also lets you know how many you're up against.

This is tough to beet without a 203 (there is no place for a sniper to go where I can't see him too, and his CEM will be very low with all the machine gun fire), and the closest safe spot to throw a nade from is in the tower....and thats prety far away too. The best way to beat this to shoot at the SAW from in the tower and from the catwalk before the north hills at the same time.

Like I said, not flawless, but fun (it can be even better if you have some teammates left).

Enjoy,
Ivan

another common spot for SAW gunners is on the Assault side under the big truck. Only beneficial for laying suppressive fire and also its hard to get killed with nades under the truck.

if your on assualt, underneath the truck. you can get a good shot in at anybody at the Defense Car. but you need to be careful, they'll spam you back

The best spot on assault is from the windows in the tower. From here you can spam all three Defense windows, top stairs, bottom stairs, and wooden cat. The defense 203 usually doesn't waste shots at the assault tower b/c, 1: there aren't many people there like D tower and 2: They tend to save the shots for the assault road or arch.

I like to setup early and spam the ledges first, but I move out quickly before I get 203 hit on the top stairs for the left ledge. On the right ledge spamming you are less likely to get hit by 203, but you can't support the rest of your team very well.

I HATE surpressent SAW fire. Not only is it totally useless, it makes it much harder, if not impossible to hear incoming 203 nades or 203 nades that are launched.

RE: [BRIDGE] SAW Spots

well the saw isnt too good on Bridge...you get less nades and your accuracy is bad compared to the m16, so i dont suggest the saw unless you plan on rushing.

If I see saw fire from about that position I simply empty a mag standing behind second def car in that position and usually get the kill - move around

SAW on assault:

Rocks on ridge (where snipers snipe). You can cover big part of the map and your team there. SAW must not only support from there, is good to stay in first line of fire and get some kills. If SAW goes bridge, then stay in first line supporting.

SAW on def: stay right hill up top, if you know how to play up there, then you with a bit of support, must be unbeatable there. Noone will cross it. A second option is left hill... Never cross the tower, stay hiden.
