Why download it if you want to uninstall it, Thats costs us money you know, for the bandwidth you used up downloading it.
Did you try reading the help section?

Readme sections, topics and files don't exist just for fun so it's best to read them. Here's a link for you where you can find all the answers for your questions divrael: http://aao25.com/2-5-assist/aa2-5-assist-readme/

Read carefully these:
1) QUESTION: Where the hell does assist store the game system files and all its data?
2) QUESTION: Can I change the location where assist stores the game and data files?

@SASF-Calevey: I did change the location to some "C:/ Programs/aa25 ". But I cannot use this "find"-function correctly: I select "armyops"; assist responds "Existing Installation found, ready to copy. This could take a long time. Please make sure you have 1.95 Gb of free space" ; I press "Yes"; assist seems to install something but then assist ask again, whether I have already installed the game and wants me to give the address... What shall I do now?

Do a search after folder called '25assist' to be 100% sure. Otherwise I doubt that you have downloaded anything or the download has corrupted on the way somehow. Therefore it's worth trying again. If you want to uninstall 25Assist then simple delete the files you extracted.

It doesn't seem to be so easy. That same information has been told already in the third post. But yes, It's sometimes difficult to understand what ppl are trying to ask.

You can try search on your computer for 25assist. Hit the window buttom and press the "search for......" and enter 25assist.
There are one 25assist.exe and a folder, the folder name is libs or libery and its stored same place.

2. when you installed the game do you changed path?

I got it... In XP by default path will be:
C:\Documents and Settings\HereYourProfile\Application Data

...but Application Data by default is hidden, if you knew how to unhide folders then do it and you will find that 25Assist folder in Application Data. If not then copy/paste path above, change 'HereYourProfile' to you real profile, copy changed path, open My Computer and paste to Address and Enter.
Should work...

BTW. It's not that bugged like you think, only sometimes peoples are lazy... Anyway, these peoples work for free - show some respect.

Im not sayin anythin bout their work, and yes, prolly, They deserve respect but... they cant rest on our laurels.
There's still much to do. I would liek to see settings working from in-game, but i read faq, and know that they disable it.. (for exe. this gave me some trouble as used to set the sound, i just couldnt immediately check that in a "battle")
Im out, see ya in game

in-game menu will return in next update. the reasons it was disable are no longer relevant.
