AA2 server join button

I recently joined battletracker because AA2 is no longer supported through their auth. server, however i cant seem to join and server on the list. I've tried to put the ip into the ip field in the AA2 browser and also clicking on the join button on the battletracker site and using all three options but i cant join. Anyone have any useful info.?

Are you talking about 2.8.5? - If so, you better start playing 2.5. Here's the place to start: http://aa25assist.sourceforge.net/

If you're having troubles joining servers at 2.5 it's because the authorization is down for some reason.

So if i have 2.8 i can only play on those servers running the same version. That would really suck.

That's how it is and it doesn't suck if you really think about it. Let's say game X version 1.0 has a god mode, you can do whatever you want, and version 1.5 doesn't have anything, but a chair where your figure can sit. If we put these together in one server, it would be a mess.

Play both versions if possible. I don't know how strong 2.8.5 is anymore, haven't opened it for weeks, but I guess there are still servers running.

You can join 2.8.5 via Qtracker http://www.qtracker.com/download-sections.php
