How a PB HW Ban works:

If you have gone online even ONCE, in the past month or two, and used ANY (or any sibling) modern bot (MPCBot, UnrealBot, G.lug.Bot). You likely WILL be GUID and HW banned. HW bans are added MANUALLY by PB staff based on your MAC address, graphics card serial, motherboard serial, etc.

NOTE: There have been some invalid HW bans. These are uncommon however. I cannot state the reason for the invalid bans due to risk of abuse. As I said. If you feel it is errant, contact PB. If it's a valid appeal, PB will respond "This is a bad ban and has been lifted."

REMEMBER THAT IF ANYONE USES A BOT ON YOUR COMPUTER. TO CHEAT, TEST, HAVE FUN, etc, even on ANOTHER account - if you are HW banned, PB will not remove it. This is a reminder that the integrity of your account and computer are YOURS to protect. The AC groups are currently being overwhelmed with both valid and invalid appeals (Which for the most part won't be approved.) concerning people who "tested" a bot, "played with a bot for fun", or some related reason.

DO NOT TEST a bot if you don't know what you're doing!
