That really sucks if admins use their powers like that. Don't let one always-on-defence-guy take you down, play somewhere else.

Problem is if Admins start trying to control the game like this while many people are coming back they will easily get the peed off and not come back.
You can argue that there the Admin and its there server blah blah blah, but I've been an Admin and still am and even for the last 2 year I removed all PB's just to get players back on and only then banned for 24hours and kicked if others were getting upset I even allowed some hacker to keep playing just for the challenge.

I also recently got banned for playing to too good under my 100H player name on an unauthorized 2.8.5 server they were screaming hacker, really it wasn't even that good a play. But Really who in there right mind would use a 100H account to hack on a unauthorized server just think about it for a millisecond. I've got nothing to prove and only allot to lose using it if I was hacking, It's now open slather to make up any player name you like on unauth servers and everyone is 15H in game. Really hope I don't need to point it out "again" more than that.

Still got banned and took 3 weeks to sort it out and jumped across allot of hurdles to prove my innocence. It was as much to prove a point on exacutally the sort of Admin behaviour that will kill the game more than it already has. I havent bothered playing on that server since and probably wont even tho im unbanned.

In saying that i've never had too many other problems in the past, some of the US server like kicking me off Hospy for killing the Vip too Early all the time and site high ping. (I've spent way too many hours on it.)

So my point is that All Admin's should take it easy and don't be Nazi, unless they really deserve it. Ban them just for 24 hours and give them a second chance even.

I agree with Go_cat75. I've been admin on a few authorized servers before, not anymore because I stopped being active a long time ago. But I cn't even remember having the need to ban someone for a long period. If a player spoils teh fun for others you just kick him, if he comes back and stays cool he can stay. If he doesn't then you just ban him for a few days. If someone really hacks you can find proof, but a higher k/d ratio means nothing ofcourse. For the rest an admin should just play along with the other players and if he wants a gun he has to score points to deserve it, just like everyone else.

I am sure there are more admins out there, who think the same way. So you don't need to quit the game because of some poor administrating of a few.
I've started playing again a bit more often and had some good sessions with good admins (if they were present) the last days. I really enjoyed the game again.

The only thing I do find that annoys me quite a bit is force classing weapons.
The maps are designed specifically for the type of weapon that is used in standard gameplay.
Ofcourse I can understand that you want to play a couple of fun rounds every now and then, but half of the servers have some sort of permanent SF mod on them.
Ruins all the fun on f.e. Urban Assault (which is a horrible map to start with but), having the ability to grenade someone on that map completely wrecks it.
The map is made for running around on rooftops and if you where quick enough you could run across even with someone camping in Alpha or Delta, now with SF guns that is in no way possible.

SF Mods have ruined my brief comeback, dont know if i want to adapt.

Playing bridge with SF is just amateur hour, same with IC. Just ruins the way the game was meant to be played.
Think that might be the reason i chucked playing AA in 2008 for, damn SF guns all the time.

Or run your own server from home or get a hosted one, because stop playing isn't an option. I am not surprised at all if servers get modded in 2.5, that's what happened in 2.8.5, but I still hope there would be both kind of servers.

That zoram dude was forceclassing his own weapon to SF and G, ofcourse on defense.. Then i told him to use silentforceclass to not make it so obviusly lame and i got kicked ~.~ Whole TG clan are pricks to be honnest
